A letter from our director

I am Shilpa Goswami, the Nominated Supervisor and Centre Director of Little Foundations Early Learning Centre.

I am so thrilled to see that you are considering joining our Little foundations family.
Being a parent of two children, I know the amount of care and careful consideration that goes into the decision to find the best place for our children as this is a journey that I myself have taken in the past. This is why at Little foundations we’ve made it our mission to go beyond the standard childcare experience to create a safe haven for our families where they can take comfort in the fact they are receiving exceptional personalised care.

We love what we do! And like theorists Bandura and Gardner, we also believe that children learn best through social interactions and that we as educators play a significant role in these crucial years to form a solid foundation for their future.

Having stood in your shoes I want to assure you that I know what it takes to make this place a home away from home where your children will feel loved and nurtured while also being provided with opportunities to grow and thrive in a safe and inclusive environment.

About our owners

Dawn, Darryl, Shilpa and Amit have been in the childcare industry for many years, successfully building centres from the ground up to be pillars of their communities and safe spaces for families to thrive. With centres from Eastwood to multiple centres in the Kellyville and the hills district they believe and embody the notion that all children should have the right to quality education and care and should feel accepted, loved, valued and empowered.

About us

Little Foundations Early Learning is a family owned and operated service operating 52 weeks a year that strives to provide our families with the highest quality care by providing a nurturing, fun, engaging and safe environment.
We provide play based developmental programs designed to stimulate and set the foundation for children’s education while equipping each child with an appreciation and thirst for learning. In addition to motivating the mind, we feel it is important to nurture the body. Hence, we provide high quality healthy nutritional meals that your child will find both tasty and appealing, and a variety of outdoor activities to further develop each child’s gross motor skills.
We see you, your child, our educators and our larger community as connected threads that, when woven together mindfully, create the fabric of learning. We deliver the highest quality care and early education for your child, combining best practice professional teachers with stimulating learning programmes and a commitment to community.
We believe learning is most effective when delivered in a caring, nurturing space that supports children to explore their world through play and use their imagination to learn.
We believe a loving atmosphere and learning through play helps children establish their own strong identity and make healthier connections with the world around them. Through shared experiences, they gain a sense of belonging and begin to develop empathy for all living beings and non-living things.
We support and encourage our families to be active contributors and participants in our centre as we believe this partnership assists in the development of a child to fulfil their full potential.
We are more than happy to assist you with any questions or queries you might have, and we look forward to partnering with your family in this stage of your child’s learning journey.
