In the Preschool room we continue to provide learning experiences through teachings, play and social interactions. These experiences are often child led learning which means that they are created for and based around the children’s individual interests.

The curriculum supports children’s growing ability to think critically, express themselves, solve problems, and develop self-regulation and resilience. Between the ages of 3 and 4, children typically reach important milestones including:

Communication

We like to stay engaged with our parents on the children’s ongoing learning and development through our Owna App. This allows us to provide you with daily journals, news feeds and observations of your child’s everyday progression wherever you might be. We send updates to our Owna App throughout the day, so that you can get all the information needed to give you peace of mind that your child is thriving while at the centre.

FAQ - Preschool

Are nappies provided?

No, nappies are not provided as all children must be toilet trained to be in the preschool room.

Do they have a separate playground?

All children from 2-5 years old use the same playground. Babies and Nursery have a separate playground.

Do they need to sleep?

Children are not required to sleep in this room unless they request to sleep. They are provided with quiet time activities so relax their body and mind.

Do they need to bring their hats?

yes, they must bring their own hats. At the end of the day, it should be taken back home for washing.
